Meijer reported that they were having trouble with their payment processing issues after similar issues were reported last month.
In a social media post on June 10, Meijer writes that they continue to be affected by “Chase Bank payment processing issues.”
The statement reads as follows:
“Chase Bank continues to have stability issues with the payment processing system it uses to serve many retailers. Unfortunately, Meijer is one of those retailers affected and we are frustrated with the poor customer experience these problems have created for our customers. Chase assures us that they are working to correct the problems, and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this has caused. We are still accepting credit and cash.

The following day, Meijer said on his social media that he was continuing to work with Chase Bank to resolve issues with its payment processing system.
Customers on social media reported multiple charges to their accounts, with two users claiming they were charged more than 10 times.
In May, I-Team’s John Bedell reported that Meijer customers in the Miami Valley and other parts of the country reported issues in checkout lines, including double and multiple charges on credit cards. and flow.
In this case, Meijer also cited issues with the company’s transaction processing partner, Chase Bank.
