RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, July 5, 2022 / — flynas, the Saudi carrier and the first low-cost airline in the Middle East is the first airline in Saudi Arabia to announce the introduction of the installment payment option. This option allows travelers to pay for their reservation in regular monthly installments via the credit card issuing bank.

To offer the new service, flynas has partnered with Amazon payment servicesa regional leader in digital payments operating in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with a mission to provide online businesses with a simple, affordable and reliable payment experience.

In line with flynas’ mission to provide customers with ever-increasing value options, Amazon Payment Services‘ installment option through the credit card-issuing bank helps remove barriers to payment, expand customer reach, manage potential airline ticketing challenges and drive growth with a seamless checkout experience that drives conversions.

Flexible and secure installment options are now available on the flynas website, allowing travelers to convert their transactions into monthly installments and book their flights with the preferred option wherever they are in the world.

The customer selects the installment payment option on the payment page and enters the card details. If the card is eligible for the installment payment option, the customer can choose the plan that suits them. Eligibility for installments depends on the bank issuing the credit card. Currently, payouts are supported by banks in three countries: Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

This initiative comes as flynas managed to surpass its operating level before the Covid-19 pandemic, with an operational capacity of 103% in December 2021 compared to December 2019. Additionally, as part of its strategy to expansion, Flynas announced an increase in its aircraft purchase orders to 250, to become the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa. flynas’ growth strategy is in line with its commitment to support Saudi Arabia’s goal of receiving 100 million tourists per year by 2030.
