Contribute to the growth of Bahrain’s economy

A bitcoin payment infrastructure company, Opennode, has announced plans to “test a bitcoin payment processing and payment solution through the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) regulatory sandbox.” In a statement, the company said the infrastructure it plans to provide will help Bahrain “develop its economy and show why Bitcoin means better business.”

“We are proud to have worked with the Central Bank to establish a strong financial services ecosystem within the Kingdom of Bahrain. As a country, we have always been at the forefront of adopting Fintech solutions thanks to the flexibility and forward-thinking of our regulator.

Buhejji added that the CBB sandbox helps ensure Bahrain’s fintechs will continue to innovate while adhering to regulatory best practices.
