Binance has chosen crypto payment processor TripleA as the new universal crypto payment gateway for its Binance Pay payment feature on its mobile apps.

The new partnership would play a vital role in helping expand Binance Pay’s global usage, according to a June 10 press release.

Speaking on the development, Binance Pay Regional Business Development Manager Pakning Luk said:

“This cements Binance Pay’s mission to provide businesses and consumers with a contactless, borderless, secure cryptocurrency payment experience.”

This was corroborated by Eric Barbier, the CEO and founder of TripleA. He said TripleA has seen increased demand from businesses to enable crypto payments.

Novelship, an Asian online marketplace for sneakers, streetwear and limited-edition collectibles, is among the retailers that will use the payment gateway.

Booming Crypto Payment Services

The news comes shortly after payment technology company Mastercard announced a collaboration with Latin American e-commerce company Mercado Libre to improve the security and transparency of its crypto program in Brazil.

Mastercard’s CipherTrace technology will also help the e-commerce company manage regulatory and compliance requirements.

Additionally, payment processor Stripe recently reintroduced Bitcoin (BTC) payments through a partnership with crypto startup OpenNode.

The partnership between Stripe and OpenNode will allow Stripe customers to accept BTC payments through a new application that will allow users to convert incoming payments and any amount from their account balance into BTC.
