Default k&n filter charger on cruiser gt

i just installed a filter charger on my 2007 gt. seems to work fine except for an annoying rattling noise when it is backing down. cannot isolate and k&n say thaey have never heard of that before.

anybody else install one of these things?

What is it? Flat replacement or the cone-type? If it's the cone type, check the metal end cap - bet it's loose.
If it's the flat-type, I can't imagine what it could be.

You're probably hearing a bit of noise from the BOV bleeding pressure off. The new intake allows more sound out of the engine compartment. The OEM airbox is designed to mute all of that.
