My modified air box, drop in K&N and 2" ram air hose will out perform any open or semi enclosed cone filter. Try this setup and you'll swear off cone filter intakes for good like I have.

MG,
Any pics of what you did?
I want to take a hose off the brake cooling duct next to the fog.

Thanks,
Tom

since I dont have aturbo I normally dont access this area, but the results and posts are VERY interesting....
Those wishing to superimpose graphs can do it with some work if they have photoshop, PS CS, etc which allows layering. Simply import copies of the posted pix and do your layering thing.
Anyone that does may wanna post imag(s) of the results.
Now if only we had some charts of stock PT's on dyno.....

Good work people!!!!!!!

You can see the hose next to the fog light. It's 2" flexible hose used to clean swimming pools that I got at Home Depot. I popped the inner fenderwell cover off enough to run it inside and up to the fenderwell hole. Some people drilled a hole in the airbox and run it to the bottom of the airbox after installing an inlet to attach the hose to. Be sure to put 3-4 small holes in the 2" hose at the low point before the hose goes up into the hole next to the fog light to allow any water to drain. I had to trim a piece of plastic? to get the hose to go through unencumbered. I got an ABS plastic union from the plumbing dept. to go on the end of the hose to give it a finished look. You can paint it the color of your GT.
