Installed mine yesterday...didn't remove the fuse box or the tube going into the turbo like the instructions say...it wasn't that bad, just that one damn bold by the oil line...I love the sound of the BOV venting into the atmosphere....can't wait for stage II

How long was the install? Plan on ordering one for mine.

Did mine today. Took about 2 hours cause I had to relocate my Spring Mod since the plate makes the surge valve stick out further. It's MUCH easier to get at that 3rd bolt from beneath the car. Luvin the PSSSHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Aloha,
Mark

I have installed a manuel boost controller and a BOV from Turbosmart and they work great. The BOV relieves any excess air pressure in the hose going to the throttle body. When you have your foot into it and back off quickly, the excess pressure in that line caused by the throttle body butterfly closing quickly, will cause back pressure against the turbo impellar. This will try to slow it down and to a degree work it against itself ( for lack of a better term ) So......the blow off valve vents all the extra pressure to atmosphere instead of it " back flowing " against the turbo. If anyone else out there can add to or correct this simplified explanation, jump in any time !!

mine only took about 30 minutes to install. Yes that 3rd bolt is a biatch. When I did a second one we took a long thick screwdriver from below and very slightly bent the tube out of the way. It didn't take much to make the job a WHOLE lot easier.

Ok Sounds like another must have. Where do I get one? Are there various ones to choose from that won't cause warranty issues?

I installed mine Thursday ...the third bolt was a b***** . Plus I managed to break my oil pressure gage hose line in the process so my install was no where near as quick as I'd have liked . I was too leary to try and reloc that oil line so it was a single facet turn of the bolt and flip the wrench . Bought racheting wrenches but it was too tight a space to use on the third bolt . As for the sound between the BTG intake and Mopar BOV ,the bov is louder than the intake.....don't bother me but others may not care for it !
