Default boost gauge
What is the stock boost reading one should get on a boost gauge on a stock turbo?

Tony what you seeing ? Without mb connected mine was lucky to see 10lbs . However I've had mb installed for around 4,000 miles and last weekend I disconnected and was peaking around 12 @ full throttle but it wouldn't stay there. With mb installed I peak @ 13 and hold 10 as long as I'm in the throttle. Also with mb installed I start boosting @ about 1/3 throttle .

Tony don't bet on that...before the mb and with less than 1000 miles that's what mine would peak @ ! I think the pcm is coded to control boost under some magic # of miles . Cuz as I stated when I ran without mb it was never that high before. How many miles you have now ? Mine is over 6,000 .

Just tripped 1,000 yesterday. I still thinl its the gauge because when I shut off the car the gauge shuts off on 10 vacuum and not 0

That being said you're probably right ! Mine just shows boost but even the combo should show 0 @ shutdown .

I bought an electronic gauge and because of wiring issues...I was running 22 psi! Ha! Wish I got a pic of that....
Problem should be corrected by the weekend.
