Default Cruise The Netherlands 2

Hi there,

Just signed in on this forum, so this is also my first post. I'll introduce myself within a few words:

Name: Sjoerd van der Veer
Location: Heerlen, The Netherlands
Occupation: Webmaster, Student International business and management
Hobbys: Pt cruiser, webdesign/hosting, fitness

I'm the president (or teammember) of ptCruise-in, The Dutch Pt cruiser club. Together with my other Teammembers Michel and Renate (also known as Spock & Trouble) we run the place in The Netherlands.

On June 11th and 12th we organise our second international event, Cruise The Netherlands TWO. A two-day cruise with lots of activities, side-seeing etc. around the IJsselmeer (that's the lake you'll see on a map of holland) We've invited pttuning.nl, there will probably be a Pt cruiser hearse which has just been delivered from Italy, we probably will visit the Donkervoort factory (Car-pride made in The Netherlands) or the factory of Spyker (Another car made in The Netherlands).

Every year we show a different part from The Netherlands, last year the soutern part, this year the northern part. This event is one of the largest in Europe with the most participating countries like: The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxemburg, Switzerland and even from Russia! We will have a great time on June 11th and 12th.

Our special guest is from The United States, Beckey from Tenessee, she will fly over and have a lovely holiday staying at Michel and Renate's place. Maybe there are more people interested to come over, we will find a way to get some nice sleeping places for you, we will show you Holland etc. Next year we've planned to come over with a few members and visit some club-meetings and accessorie stores. We will notify you again by then, and hopefully we'll get to meet.

More information on Cruise The Netherlands you can find on: http://ctnt.cruisin.nl or our website www.cruisin.nl

Thanks and take care,

After looking at their web, Linda is determined to try and find a way to attend this event. This is great, how we PT Cruiser's can join together, in friendship, from all over the world.

"Happy Cruisin"

Welcome Aboard!

It is nice to know that our little Mexican/American PT Cruiser is a World Wide Hit!

Post some pics, we love to see how others customize their rides.

Great pictures Ed! I had such a fabulous time at Cruise The Netherlands 2! I was worried that the language barrier might be a problem but most everybody spoke english and made me feel right at home! PT Cruiser folks seem to be the same across the world.... great folks with very very cool cars! I have attended over 50 events in the past 5 years but CTN2 has topped my list as being the absolute best event ever! Sjoerd, Michel and Renate should be very proud! I hope we got the article into Cruiser Quarterly soon enough to make the Summer Issue... I'm paitently awaiting to receive my copy to see if it's there before I buy extras to send over to you! By the way, I also posted a couple hundred pictures here Miss B's Photos . Enjoy!

Becky
