Just wanted to remind everyone out in cruiserland that the Alabama Gang is going to be rolling out the red carpet for everyone coming in August for our 4th Annual PT Cruiser Club Picnic!!!!!
This Picnic will stand apart from anything you've ever been to!! We'll be crowning the new King and Queen of GRITS!!!!!!!!!!

Just 2 more weeks to the Alabama Chapter PTCC 4th Annual Picnic. Dead line for pre-registration is Sunday August 15, 2004. If you have not already pre-registered please do this as soon as possible.
Pre-registration is just $15.00 per car and all the pre-registered will be in a drawing for a nice gift bag.
It is very important to pre-register so we will know how much food to order,
but you can also register the day of the picnic for $20.00 per car, Also, if you haven’t made your reservations at the Key West Inn they only had 5 rooms left as of today. There is carwash right across the street from the motel.
If you have a problem with making reservations please contact us ASAP.
On Saturday, August 21, 2004 after dinner we will set up in our room #117 for anyone that wants to pickup there registration packet and goody bags. Be sure to bring your goody bags to the picnic for their could be a mystery prize in one of them.
From the Mystery Wedding to the crowning of the Grits King & Queen this should our best picnic ever. ( You Don’t want to miss this one!)

For anyone coming in early on Saturday there are a few things to do. Such as Morgan Creek Vineyards in Harpersville, Alabama, 205-672-2053, (this is free) they have tours and wine tasting from 10 AM-6 PM.

DeSoto Caverns Park is open from 9 AM- 6PM with cave tours and other attractions ( Sunday of the picnic the park opens at 1 PM)

Kymugla Grist Mill Park is a National Landmark and has a 143 year old covered bridge and a working grist mill where you can buy fresh ground Grits & Cornmeal. They have nature trails and the 2nd oldest railroad in Alabama. This is about 2 miles from DeSoto Caverns and it is $3.00 per person. For more information you may call 256-378-5482 or 256-378-7436.
