I had mine made by Koni in April 2000. It was big $ and took 6 weeks. I've spoken to Koni and Tokico in the last 2 weeks, and both have them in line for production later this year.
Hang tight, and you'll have your choice by fall (my guess). They've both had to push production schedules back by almost a year because of problems with components. |

Adjustable shocks or struts won't help with that problem - the "adjustment" is to stiffness/rebound, which is useful when tailoring the body roll to cornering.
I have Eibachs on mine, and have had no problem when hauling people or stuff in the back of the car. I understand some spring companies require the bump stops be cut when installing their lowering springs (Eibach does not). Did your spring manufacturer recommend it? Was it done? Is it possible too much or too little was cut?

Forrest, could yo ugive me a contact name at Koni for the shocks? I don't mind the $, I want the performance and am willing to pay for it... I am bringing the PT to Shannonville (a local track) and would love to get some better dampers happeing! Ride is WAY to mushy right now for the track.
You can email me at brad@powertripcaraudio.com Thanks! |
