The scottsdale exhaust with the longest muffler is probably the quietest duel exhaust . I have the Borla and it's not what you'd say is quiet . The Volant cold air intake is a great system , good quality and design . Howell automotive also sells the Volant . Any intake system is going to be louder then the stock system , to the point of possibly being too loud for some people . The Volant and a good quality duel exhaust are the best add ons you can do for the PT . They both work together to give better performance ect. I believe "ptdoityourself.net"has a good study of various intake systems and intake air temperatures , one is homemade and seems to do a great job. Just avoid the" filter on a stick" systems , they still draw alot of hot under hood air . Alot of them are chrome , painted pretty , ect. but even if they're gold plated , they still draw hot air . Good luck in your search .
