Thumbs up Torque mod: yellow /dark green

This is for MX-5 hey thanks for the post . I just did the 1-2 shift burp fix. cut the wire going to the pcm and it works .........a lil but the nice thing I like about it is that it seemed to remove the speed limiter in OD on my PT. I put a switch inline instead of just cutting the wire and now I can turn it on and off as i need ,my car before the mod ....would spin the tires on takeoff and then break them loose when it shifted to second .....now it shifts faster but not as hard but now i can go 119MPH in fourth(ran out of hwy) instead of 117 in third @6000rpm..........I like the "SPEED" ill post the results from the track and top end as soon as i streach her Wings again.........." I have not and will never drive my PT that fast. There is no legal reason.
I race IHRA and SCCA solo-II autocross. I have no need to risk the lives of others on the street.

Please don't include my mod in a speed related post.
I do not want to see the several hundred owners who have cut the wire go out to test your theory.

If you refer to the service manual, you will see no reference to any speed limiter info on that signal circuit. All it does is supply a ground path for the TRD link.
