Default Warped Rotors

Hello, this is my first post.

My engine has been making a chirping noise lately and the tech said he found nothing wrong except for "warped" rotors. My PT only has 13,000, most of which are highway miles.

Is it normal to have rotors repaired after so few miles? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Geoff

Unfortunately I had to have my rotors replaced at about 10 to 12k miles, dont remember exactly, warranty covered.

Personally, I'm not sure what the answer is, but there are some knowledgeable folks here, so give 'em a chance to find this & respond!

WELCOME!

Mine needed to be turned after 12,000 miles. If the rotors are the problem you will feel the brake pedal pulse when you apply the brakes. By the way the warranty on brakes is 12 months or 12,000 miles so whatever the problem don't wait to get the problem fixed

Don't think of them as warped rotors, rather manual ABS
