What dia. pipe did you use? I increased my "snorkle" to 3 " going to the feder & I'm using a sotchbite pad for the "gasket". Its judto keep it form rubbing. I have the inlet within 1/4" of the fender opening. VERY LITTLE HOT AIR enters there from the rest of the engine compartment.
Now that I see the rest of your parts, it looks better in these pix than on the DIY site. HMMMM... got me thinking some more... ![]()

I forgot to ask, how is it held in place to the bottom of the air box? I did not notice anything to hold it in place. I guess I need to reread the article again.
