Default Long time Heartthrob dual exhaust owner

Have had my Heartthrob duals on for a couple of months. They are fantastic. Looking for an owner that may have had trouble after a certain period of time. If I don't hear any negatives. I'll pass the good word on.
Let me know,
Crush

I've had mine for about 8 months no problems, Hasn't got any louder either. I don't think that there is a better buy out there for duals.

About 9 months here, only "problem" I've had is surface rust forming inside the tips. Once a month or so I spray some black Rustoleum in there. Even though the tips are stainless steel, because of the upswept design and no drain hole, condensation (or water from washing) tends to settle there.
I might just drill a drain hole myself.
What I really like is the design. A large resonator aft of the cat, then the 2 1/2" pipe splits to the tips (each of which has a built-in glass pack). No sharing of one muffler.
So far so good, and the price was right.

J.C. Whitney, http://www.jcwhitney.com/item.jhtml?ITEMID=67595&BQ=ptc . For $249.95 for the dual setup, it's a great buy. The single setup costs $209.95. Standard shipping is about $15.

Default Looks good!

How do they sound? Is that a "glass pack" muffler with two resonators? Does it have the 4 cyl "blat, blat" sound?

Thanks,
Marty

Sounds great. Lower tone. People actually think it could be a six or eight cylinder sound. No need to be worried that your feeding your PT rice. There is a long resonator pipe and a glass pack muffler before each tip. The muffler shop that installed my duals were very complementary about the construction. Very Happy with them so far.
