Yes Phatdad's turbo is an auto...hence the question as far as warranty he's on the edge especially with the dealers we have locally . Hence the question he's asking ! It's preventative not reactive .

Advise that flies in the face of all available data to the contrary would seem to be poor advise. So you denied some poor persons warranty work and they didn't have the means or the knowledge to drag your butt though court or at least call the zone and work their way up the system. Yeah, you may have gotten them to pay full retail to repair their car. I worked with car dealers for 15 years in the warranty end and of their business and I DO think they are all crooks. It got to the point that I hated even talking to them so I sold my business. They don't like warranty work so they try to stick it to the consumer for a full pop retail job. Additonally I read on these boards all the time the inept adivse delivered by dealership personel. You are right, my experience has taught me to question everything they say.
