The smaller pipe will be better for every day driving. As the pipes get bigger the farther up the rpm the peak HP wil be. ( to a point) if you have a daily driver ger the 2.25 if it is a weekend cruiser get the 2.5 While the difference will not be very dramatic you will enjoy the drive a bit better if you choose them right.

Well, I finally purchased the a borla exhaust with the 50% off certificate I won at CTF II. I got the dual tip 2.5" pipe. It was installed today and I pick it up after work. I am thinking about putting a turbo on eventually and after some good advice from Powertrip, he suggested not to get a dual if I want to put a turbo on in the future. He said that the muffler on the dual exhaust has a 1.75" inlet, smaller the the stock 2.25" pipes which creates a lot of back pressure. From what I have been told backpressure is bad for turbos. Straight through borla exhaust does not have the same muffler or restriction. Not sure if this is the same for the Mopar borla or not. Just my two cents!

Well, I got the car back today with the new exhaust and it sounds great. I wouldn't say there is any noticable performance difference, but I didn't expect any. This is the exhaust I purchased.

Has anyone, except me been told by anyone including Chrysler reps (higher up), that installing a dual exhaust system on a GT Turbo, including the Mopar system will cause the turbo to not work properly and will void the warranty???

I changed my Suzuki from 1.25 to 2.5 and noticed a difference not sure if there will be much change from 2.25 to 2.5
In my Suzuki's case it added alot of HP and was louder

kruzeguy, I take it your 03 is a turbo in which you put the 2.50 pipes on. I am buying the mopar dual exhaust for the turbo. Talked to Borla, they said the same duals can be put on either rhe NA PT or the turbo, but put the 2.5 pipes on the turbo, and it doesn't affect warranty----HOPEFULLY that are right??
