None of the springs on the market right now are below grade. My advice is find the level of drop you want, then find the best deal you can.

Most rides will be the simmilar. The calculated spring rates will vary a bit, but all are within close proximity of each other. A "race" spring is not offered yet so getting one with a ungodly rate thet will jar your teeth will not happen.

I just installed Suspension Techniques springs. They claimed an even 1.3" drop all around but after installation I've got a 3/4" front drop and a 1 5/8" rear drop. The rake is greatly reduced and the remaining fender gaps are even, front and rear. Spring rate is up and there is almost no front-end nose dive with heavy braking. I chose these springs because I live in heavy snow country and didn't want to go too low.

I just got my 2001 PT. I was thinking about dropping it too. do you need to replace the struts/shocks as well?

Shocks and struts do not need to be changed. Two inches isn't enough to worry about. A front end alignment should be done, though. If for no other reason than to cover yer butt. You'll be sooo glad you did it. It will look incredible, and the handleing is vastly improved.

I just got BTG's springs installed today - 1.75" front, 1.5" rear, looks great, rides better, not too much difference on bottoming out than before, mainly I still take it slow on driveways. Anyway I like to go slow so I can soak up every second I can in my PT!!!

I have a set of Progress springs new, in the box, that I need to sell. How's $125 plus shipping sound?

I still have an awsome line on the KYB front and rear shocks and struts for under $200!

Thanks!! Bob
