Sean,
Yes, the Nitrous was only used in run #3. The green lines are hard to see up in the text. I started graphing at about 4200rpm. At58, You are welcome to join us. Here's the e-mail that went out to my local club: Hello everyone, I'm setting up a day to get those performance minded drivers a chance to dyno the car. This will effectively measure horsepower and torque to see what you've got under the hood. It's time to see what the turbo, supercharged, and nitrous can do! A friend of mine has built a new shop just down the road from me, on Bendix drive here in South Bend. Included in the shop is a $38,000 DynoJet chassis dyno. It's computerized and fully programmable. This is the same one used by NASCAR. It will read up to 1200 horsepower! The sessions will consist of the setup, three pulls with cool-down time, and complete printouts of the results. Plan on around 1 1/2 hours per car. The cost is $75 per car for the day. This is based on 11 or more cars joining me. I'm bringing 2, and several other car clubs are invited. This should prove to be quite a fun day. If I cannot get 11 cars, the price will be $100. I plan to have a couple cars that run 9 second 1/4 mile times at this event! There are 2 open dates. May 31st or June 14th. Testing will begin around 9am. Since it's near to my home, we can certainly make a day of it. I have the race fuel and nitrous refills available at my home. Please respond and let me know what date is best for you. EDIT: June 14th is the choice for the NHRA and IHRA points chasers. There is a race in Joliet on the 31st. Looks like the 14th is going to be the day RSVP ASAP MX-5 Cruise Director Last edited by MX-5 : 14th May 2003 at 06:49 AM. |
