My results are:

hp = 190.3
torque = 214.7

That's with a #42 nitrous and a #18 fuel jet.

We all need to pray to the great gearhead in the sky!
"Keep those powdered metal rods from bending!"

Here's a few pics.
(sorry AT58, I was changing spark plugs for Doc when you were on the dyno. No pics.)

MX-5 - I am ware that this is not the right forum but I have just returned from a stint at The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. During my time there I asked my mechanic to postpone the repairs to my Cruiser. He now tells me that he is having a difficulty with the rear wheel alignment or suspension. He states that the rear wheels are not perpendicular to the ground but they both slant slightly inward from the top. He further states that he noticed a bent bolt in the area of the back suspension but that bolt was straightened and repaired by a qualified machinist and as far as he can see there is nothing else that could account for the posiiton of the wheels. He wonders therefore whether the rear wheels are independently aligned or are there adjustments that must be made to the suspension. I do need my vehicle because its one year now since the accident and the vehicle is not yet up and running. I really do need your hepl! Incidentally I lost your email address!

John,
You could always use the private message feature.

Here's what the service manual says:

REAR CAMBER AND TOE
Rear camber and rear toe settings on this vehicle
are determined at the time the vehicle is designed,
by the location of the vehicle’s suspension components.
This is referred to as Net Build. The result is
no required adjustment of camber and toe after the
vehicle is built or when servicing the suspension
components. Thus, when performing a wheel alignment,
rear camber and toe are not normally considered
adjustable angles. Although not normally
considered adjustable, rear camber and toe can be
changed when necessary through the use of specially
designed shims. To install shims, use the following
procedure.
(1) Raise the vehicle until its tires are off the floor
or alignment rack.
(2) Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
(3) Access the spindle mounting bolts following the
Spindle Removal procedure found in Rear Suspension.
(Refer to 2 - SUSPENSION/REAR/SPINDLE -
REMOVAL)
(4) Loosen the four spindle mounting bolts just
enough to slide the adjustment shim in between the
spindle and the axle mounting flange.

It's normal for the tires to 'look' toed in while the car isn't moving.

WHEW! All the data, etc. just plain whew!!!!
and think of those guys in the good old days with their flathead fords, Chev 6's, etc.
Interestingly enough I was wondering still, about power boost via Nitrous, post a year or such ago was advising against it for daily use. However if used in moderation?
again, Whew!
