Notice that the first 2 runs are all motor. The power band falls off drastically. The motor isn't designed to keep making power above 5800rpm.
The cams, head, and valves are sized for a specific power band, and it shows nicely on the graphs.
This combination isn't going to make any power above 6000rpm, no matter what I bolt on or spray into it.

BUMP.

There is only 5 more days to get signed up for the dyno day in South Bend, IN.

If you're not signed up by Friday noon, I can't be sure to have enough time (and food for the picnic).

Bump again!

Saturday is the dyno day!
There's still room to get a few more cars in on the action.

I'm working to get a photo and graph results CD made available. It will have the info for every car that runs on one CD.

Hmmmmmmmm Interesting.

Most automatic PT's lose about 35-40hp between the flywheel and Chassis Dyno Rollers (Transaxle & wheels).

That would put MX-5's car around 210-215hp at the flywheel.

Quarter miles times on the bottle must be in the general vicinity of the Turbo Autostick's I would guess.

1/4 mile is at 15.306 and I'm still a few jet sizes rich.

We'll know more on the dyno tomorrow.

at58 has driven in from Madison Wisconsin!!!! and we've been playing with his turbo/nitrous combo PT.

All the magic numbers will be revealed on the dyno in 10 hours.

best I got was 253.9 hp and 366.2 torque on the bottle. Just on the turbo motor I got 191.7 hp and 249.8 torque. It was a blast
