Achr it's seat of the pants...why 'cuz I broke the freaking tires loose on dry pavement right after slamming second gear. No other mods @ all bone stock . I also agree with you the track or dyno is the real proof . However one can sense increased pickup...it's not like I said the exhaust gave me 20 more horsepower. I merely said it had more pickup and to me appeared less sluggish as you've alluded too. You're taking a very logical way to test and modify your car. I plan on taking mine to a strip@ some point this summer although having never dragged before I'm sure my times ,etc will be disappointing . I won't baseline my car either but I just enjoy driving my car day in day out and having the extra punch that even my modified '01 didn't have ! By the way if I want to really go fast all I need do is straddle my wife's Suzuki 750 katana . Now that's quick....!
