Glad to help, cuz I know how "burned" I get when things don't work/fit as they should ! As you can see it took some extensive "hacksaw" work to make a regular strut bar fit the GT !

FLASHBK2:

Do you have a picture of the relay bracket before you modded it?

Sci-fi the top picture shows the stock setup. IE the relays are mounted on a one -piece bracket that also holds the vacuum booster for cruise control. In the lower picture the cruise control bracket has been cut/shaped to the '01/'02 style cruise control bracket . Then I further cut /filed the solenoid bracket to make a cleaner fit on the strut bar . Hope that helps !

I like this strut bar the best. Just because of looks, Im sure it has some performance gains. But I am not racing my pt so I dont need huge turning capability some will do me fine. But I love the look of this thick bar just looks racier to me. If I get crazy and want some mad corning I could always drill a hole in the midle and attach it to the firewall like the one shown on the comaro.

I just installed the Freedom Design strut bar this morning. It took about 10 minutes. As it's my wifes car, I couldn't tell if there was a big difference in my five minute test drive.

Thumbs up Feedom Design

I took about ten minutes to install my Freedom Design strut bar.
Steering responds much better. I also seems to help with those tractor trailer ruts on the interstate.
