Thumbs up More power for turbos?

My wife and I are buying a PT Turbo in the very near future. I've read here, and experienced myself, that there is a hesitation of "flutter" just before the engine reaches the rev limiter. Seems if you back off the accelerator just a tad that the thing actually picks up for a second. Anybody experience this, or better yet, have a"fix" for it??
I'd also like to raise the boost just a tad, after break-in. Is therean easy way to do this? Also, the K&N filter kits I've seen are for the regular engines, haven't seen any for the Turbo. Are there any available?? Which exhaust works bes on the Turbo? Looking for larger intercoolers, too.
Sorry for all the questions from this new guy. I do appreciate all help, and will pass on what I learn to the forum.
Thanks!
Joe

Airaid emailed me back and said it would be a couple of months and probably about the same for others.

Never experienced it and my experience is that it does not flutter just seems not to make a lot of power as it reaches redline. I am pretty sure this is done to protect the engine and avoid over boosting. Interesting if you run regular gas the boost dont seem to go as high. That engine is plenty smart! I removed the weatherstripping at back of the hood, and took out both silencers in the air box. I have a drop in K&N filter and wife says exept for really hard acceleration all the mods did was make it a tad faster sounding. We love her car!!
