Well after a weekend I'll never forget down in the land of the Psycho PT tuner Bob Stockum, things are looking good!
I spent the weekend destroying Bob's shop, and lived to tell. After 2:30AM evenings, we managed to do almost an entire rebuild of my engine, from the block up. The meat of what we did was in redoing my head-gasket, swithcing over to the GT intake manifold and valve cover, water-cooling the Turbo center section and swaping out the Crane -10 cams for the more aggressive -14 Turbo grind. A few hours precicely timing in the new cams and we were ready to rock. I also picked up a Phantom Grip and Hurst shifter to boot..... Unfortunately we ran out of time this weekend, so we never really had a chance to dial in the new setup at all, but over the net few weeks I should get the chance to get her all worked out..... The quest for 350HP continues!! A big thanks to Screamin' Stockum for putting up with my awful Canadian humor at 2 in the morning, eh! Brad (Psssst, Hey Bob, you done with that grinder yet????)
