Thumbs up More Upgrades!

Well after a weekend I'll never forget down in the land of the Psycho PT tuner Bob Stockum, things are looking good!

I spent the weekend destroying Bob's shop, and lived to tell. After 2:30AM evenings, we managed to do almost an entire rebuild of my engine, from the block up.

The meat of what we did was in redoing my head-gasket, swithcing over to the GT intake manifold and valve cover, water-cooling the Turbo center section and swaping out the Crane -10 cams for the more aggressive -14 Turbo grind. A few hours precicely timing in the new cams and we were ready to rock. I also picked up a Phantom Grip and Hurst shifter to boot.....

Unfortunately we ran out of time this weekend, so we never really had a chance to dial in the new setup at all, but over the net few weeks I should get the chance to get her all worked out..... The quest for 350HP continues!!

A big thanks to Screamin' Stockum for putting up with my awful Canadian humor at 2 in the morning, eh!

Brad

(Psssst, Hey Bob, you done with that grinder yet????)

noticiable improvement? I'm torn b/w the quick fix for this season and into next, or just going with an open diff untill i have the money for a quaiffe.
Please keep us updated on the quest for 350 as well!

Awesome! The 14's have a nice little lope to 'em, don't they. Did you actually get a chance to fire it up? How was the GT manifold fit? I will be looking to that in the next few months. Did you do some extrude honing on that puppy??
Please kkep us updated on new developments especially with fuel delivery in relation to the A/F ratio through the RPM range.
My wideband 02 setup is in the works. I am hoping to have it installed next month sometime to better monitor the ratio's.
Look forward to new developments from you!

Brad, I know you two had alot of fun

HEY JOEM, here is ANOTHER answer to the question you posed on the other thread. (how do you get it done)

I think Brad drove 12 hours each way to get this accomplished.
From CANADA no less

So there is ALWAYS a way.

To me this kind of stuff is hotroddin at its very best
