I wonder if there are any web pages that will give me a 3D view of the 2.4 PT engine.
I haven't got a chance to get a good idea of the positioning of the components. I don't have a garage and the weather here has been to poor to get a good look (0-30F lotsa snow).... The one quick look appears that the air intake flows from the air box throught the throttle body then over the front through the plastic looking "veins" to the heads. I'm wondering due to the discussion about spacers and there effectiveness....the extra inch shouldn't affect the torque and any more length should actually hurt high RPM flow right isn't the whole intake basically acting like a 30-40" plenum\runner? ![]() Last edited by iis2see : 3rd February 2003 at 10:54 PM. |

no effectivness, zip, zero, nada, they may help an old engine with a carb, ... but the swirl has no benifit for a fuelinjected engine with the injectors right at the port, like on the PT.
Save your money IMO ... Bob |

Oh I wasn't going to buy one I was just speculating on why they shouldn't work.
I've also taken a quick look at your site Bob, the pic of the GT manifold clarified the shape of the stock intake.....
