Neon Turbo upgrades

I just read on the PTOC board that the Mopar Now Mag was saying that it will be coming out with 3 performance upgrades for the Neon Turbo, 25hp/50hp and 75hp. I believe this is the same turbo that is in the Cruiser. Their 75hp upgrade was...ECU mod, Larger Turbo, injectors and new "rods and pistons" I thought the bottom end in the turbo would handle an extra 75hp. Why would Chrysler even mention rods/pistons?
