Has anyone noticed that the Airaid intake pictured on the JC Whitney site (http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=371329) is similar in design to the K&N FIPK, but for only $153? It shows a solid metal "runner," as opposed to reusing the stock rubber/platic ribbed hose.
Is this just one of those "actual item may be different than pictured" situations, or does Airaid now offer a second option? TIA. |

Just that "Actual item may be different than pictured". I looked in my catalog and under PT Cruiser Intake Part #300-120, Poweraid PArt #300-568, Replacement filter Part #720-431.
The one shown there is 400-109 (black tube) 400-118 (silver tube) used for the Ford Expedition, some Ford Pickups, Lincoln Navigator Mile High PT's Parts & Accessories ![]() |

FADEC,
I got my AirAid from mopar.parts@gte.net on eBay. You may have to search a little because he sells a lot of product. $140, no tax and free shipping. I was very pleased with the vendor. He even has a contact phone number (rare for eBay)

The unit pictured has a solid "runner," similar to the K&N FIPK. I'm wondering if Airaid has updated their design or if the picture on the Whitney website is an inaccurate representation of the PT unit. FADEC |
