Default Is Jackson Racing ever going to market a PT Supercharger?

I had forgotten about the Jackson Racing supercharger until I received an e-mail this morning from Moss Motors announcing a "Supercharger blowout". However, no PT supercharger was listed.

So I go to the Jackson Racing website and it still shows the PT Supercharger to be "in development". Have they backed out of producing one since the Turbo PT came out?

JR is now owned by Moss Motors and have pretty much turned thier back on the superchargers. I think this is why they are having the sale... to get rid of them. They also do not back thier superchargers at all. I have heard horror stories from the new management.

My sugestion is to forget about JR and thier Chargers.

Mark,

I've had JR superchargers on my own cars for several years.

They are great to deal with.
In fact, Keith in tech svc is about the best real-world engineer/tech for forced induction for Moss/JR.
I've sent several owners to MOSS just because of him.

This is real. This is what I do. It's not hearsay or rumor.

Remember, JR make superchargers for many different cars.

True but Oscar is no longer in charge. He has his hands tied unless Moss says ok. I know a few people who have had to go back for problems and got the run arround. This never happened before. Oscar will back his products with his life. I have seen him change out chargers for free for certin problems! Moss will barley admit you ever bought it. 2 of the people i know have paid the 600 bucks to take it off and return it to stock because of the run around that lasted about 4 months. 1 of witch came with the proper diagnosis. ....

He took it in with bad berings- from factory. They took it off "sent it in " 4 weeks later they called him to pick up his car. Next day it squeeled again took it back. 3 weeks later the same deal. Oscar happened to be in the shop area and looked at it personaly. And said he has to do what Moss says. He complained and finaly got a number of the company that repaires all the Eaton chargers. they have no record of it ever geting to them. On the third return they really sent it this time and was returned with the diagnosis that he came in for the first time. All said and done he sold it and bought a turbo kit.

JR does not make any chargers they only develope plumbing kits to fit various cars.

I myself like the company and beleave in JR, but my faith in Moss is waining for warrenty problems.

You can be the best rep in the world but if the rest of the company is not that good then it is all for not.

No big deal, I suppose - I just thought the plumbing looked a little more sanitary on the Jackson mockup that Moss hauled around for a while as opposed to the Whipple setup.

Is Kenne-Bell shipping yet? Last I heard, they were still waiting on CARB approval.
