Question Header and exhaust help...

I am considering buying the 4 into 2 into 1 header from Moss motors for the low and midrange power and also a dual exhaust unit, my question is, which exhaust is the most quiet, and is there any gas milage improvement. Thanx for the help!

Welcome to the fold!
Sounds like the Hedman header! I have that one & don't notice a difference at all! As a matter of fact, my 1/4 mile times are slower NOW, than they were a year ago not only with THAT addition, but an upgraded Whipple (supercharger) computer, Crane's ignition system, & Carrol's fuel management system (and what was already on the car for BOTH track visits, Cran's plug wires, a freer flowing intake, & PT Tuning's single cat/back exhaust)!
ALL of which SHOULD have improved power & times!

I have a Borla exhaust and it's fairly quiet. Gas mileage, on the highway, has gotten better.

Default Header and exhaust help

Bought a BTG Dual Cat/back system from PT-Tuning. I really liked the mellow sound. Then, I added a JBA header and the sound changed drastically, although, I can't say I got any more performance. I'm the daily driver so I don't mind the sound but some riders don't care for it...too loud.

I have hedman 4-2-1 header with bassoni single catback and airaide intake. I leave the baffle in .... When I floor it things build to cresendo @3500 rpm's read loud. At highway speeds I have to say this exhaust is much quieter than stock head pipe/dynomax turbo setup that I was running previously. I can't give you any data about just header install and milage etc. because all my work was done together ie cams ,header, airaide, bassoni. However, I can tell that with this setup highway mileage wasn't hurt as I still achieved highway mileage of 29.85 and 30.6 on trips. Granted this is using cruise control and running around 70. My around town milage has suffered 'cuz I can't keep my damn lead foot out of it. But even so the lowest I've gotten is 19.48 and highest around 22.66 around town.

Default Exhaust ????

OK so far I have gotten some good advice, well except from overtake....LOL Hey overtake try making one change at a time, then make a pass! OK all joking aside, I guess I should add that I am a new owner of a used 01 white LE, auto, I added, xenon bumper covers and aero kit color matched with a stull grill. Now how does a automatic affect a header and exhaust system. Is there a Mopar exhaust system if so is it any good? What is a BTG system? Also is a powder coated header going to last? Or should I consider a ceramic coat? Thanks agaian for all the input!

Can also get BTG from Wyckoff Chrysler.
IF you're going to get a dual exhaust, I'd go with the BTG - it has a much smoother exhaust flow - has a "Y" pipe that spilts exhaust between driver & passenger sides - others dump all exhaust into muffler on driver's side, then send some back to passenger side. It's stainless.
JBA and Borla are stainless steel, which should outlast you, Hedman isn't.
