Default quesstion 2 bell crank

so you kno whats scarry when you go to the Chryco dealer and he has one in stock ...thats not good

so dosn't seem to be enough room to put puller on center bolt/nut ...so how do you guys remove ??

i even hit it with a air hammer ...nothing its on there !!!

any ideas ??

That thing is on there tight! It says its supposed to be torqued to 90 ft-lb, but it felt far tighter than that. I used a breaker bar (no air tools on hand) and it did come loose.

I don't know if this page will be of any help to you (and I apologize if this is a duplicate posting from your other question about bell cranks), but this page shows how I had the whole rear axle loose (including the whole watts link). Maybe something in there will save you a skinned knuckle.
