That thing is on there tight! It says its supposed to be torqued to 90 ft-lb, but it felt far tighter than that. I used a breaker bar (no air tools on hand) and it did come loose.

page will be of any help to you (and I apologize if this is a duplicate posting from your other question about bell cranks), but this page shows how I had the whole rear axle loose (including the whole watts link). Maybe something in there will save you a skinned knuckle.
