I can tell you two of those are 30 min or less to get to and get out. I would have pull up my service manual to check that other one. And I have never heard of a tranny mount going bad. Cause there just isn't much there to go wrong. I can't say how easy that is to get out cause I haven't done it.
And when they say "Right" do they mean drivers side or passenger side?

no way in hell am i paying 1665.00 to have someone else do them when i spent almost 40 years as a mechanic, i am going to raise it up sunday and look see what is involved and try to do it myself, when i worked on cars you could actually repair them instead of R&R parts like today, everything takes an hour just to get to.

I bought the torque strut inserts Bosch mentioned and will be putting them in later today. imdpapaa, don't forget the alignment I referred to in an earlier post on this thread after loosening the torque struts.

Yep, sure did! I took the top one out and used a loose coping saw blade to cut through the "flashing" on the torque strut, then reinstalled with the new insert. I just hope I didn't spring any leaks in the AC lines moving them around for some clearance.
The bottom one was familiar to me from the Energy bushings install, so the hardest part was arguing with the splash shield. I just removed the bolt holding the strut to the engine and slid the new insert into place. It took just over an hour from start to finish. Thanks again for turning me on to the Modern performance inserts. This is how Energy should have done theirs to start with.

Cool DarkPT
that you got them in. The A/C lines should be fine, I was pushing and pulling on mine pretty hard when I did mine and its been ok. And the other N/A I worked was ok too. And no worries man with a pulled muscle don't hurt it worse let it heal up then tackle it. I can figure out the quotes ![]()
