Default Donate Blood

Other than my prayers, this is the only thing I can think of to do that will help.

Please make an appointment or stop by your blood bank!

I have never donated blood before due to the fear of needles but I will put this aside and donate to the people in need. All should try and do this.

It's all over the news here in the NorthEast, that Hospitals and collection banks are having to schedule people for days away! The response has been outstanding. I'm sooo proud of the people up here in the "Megalopolis".

Have you seen the reports from Europe and Israel? They're collecting at record rates too!!

The response to the call for blood donations has been so overwhelming that the usual channels cannot handle the load. If you can, try to organize a blood drive through your church, synagogue or other organizations you belong to.

We are organizing a blood drive at our synagogue this Sunday. Even though we have an annual blood drive in October, we are expecting a good turn out for this one.

Check with local hospitals for information on who to contact to set up a blood drive.

I've signed up to give as part of our state employee blood drive. One good thing about being a mutiple gallon donor, all that practice has made me a quick bleeder - I'm usually in and out of there in no time!

I myself am a blood donor since I was in University...my personal reason...in memory of my grandfather and since last year in memory of my mother....20+ donations....
I can honestly tell you that I hate needles like no one can imagine...but at the time of giving blood I'm there....
It only takes a little of your time and 1pint of blood can be used to save at least 4 persons or used for more research for many diseases.....

So let's do it.....

Tarsi.
