Default I broke down and joined the club

I am new to this forum. Have read lots of posts and decided to take the plunge.

Late last night (2/24/02), I mean late as in 11PM, I drove my PT out of the dealer's lot .

The sales manager was pissed. The janitor came and went. He was still there...with me and the sales guy. In the end all were happy :-)

I was a bit negative about the 2.4L engine of the PT. I am currently driving a 2000 Yukon XL and sort of putting down the engine on the PT.

To my surprise, the engine is performing better than I expected.

We'll see it this holds true.

A few stats of my PT: 2002 deep cranberry Limited Edition, aluminum chrome wheels.

They had a Dream Cruiser (id #255) but the color was too bright. Wanted it. Wife didn't. Guess who won :-(

Thanks to all the good posts and for this board.

Welcome and enjoy the ride.
I have always thought the knock on 150 hp PT motor is a bit off target; I remember not too long ago, during the gas shortages, when some of the "hot" cars didn't produce much more than that.
Our Cruiser has always had enough power to earn me a ticket any time I get a little carried away.
