This comes as no surprise to me. I live in Manassas and buy all my vehicles locally. This dealership is approximately 4 miles from my home so I called them first. I was told even before I mentioned ordering that "there was a waiting list"and there was going to be between a $2500 to $5000 "above" MSRP markup. With all I'd been reading about the gouging, I called Joe Jacoby's Chrysler/Jeep Sales in Warrenton, VA. I spoke with a very pleasant and helpful gentleman on the phone. He immediately told me Joe said NO Markup on top of MSRP. I ordered my Inferno Red PT Limited "loaded" over the telephone. I mailed them a deposit check to consummate the order. That was in April of 2000. In October of 2001I drove it off the lot. It was the best car purchase experience I'd ever been invoved in. I recommend for all who are interested in purchasing a PT (or for that matter any other Chrysler or Jeep) to visit Joe Jacoby's and consider speaking with my sales rep, Dan Wilkerson. It's worth it!!!
