Talking Painting day!

What a day! Posted pictures of todays work on my
website. Scroll down to the bottom. Sorry about the download time. I'll split the page in two in the near future.

When I left at 5:15 p.m. today, they had just finished putting on the first coat on the flames. Painter said they had 24 hours to get the clear coat on and that it should be all done tomorrow. Well, the painting part. Then they have to reattach everything. Here is a shot of the PureFire Chromalusion on the hood before they started on the flames.

Are they going to paint the door jams too? And maybe the underhood? Looking good Dan. A good wet sand and a couple of clearcoats (ask them to clearcoat the entire car) and it will look sharp.

I was so impressed that I used too many emoticons! Who knew there was a limit?

I apologize if I offend anyone's sense of aesthetics but I am already over budget on this. Gotta cut some corners so I decided that I wouldn't have them do the jams or underhood. I figure that since it will still be cranberry above and below that it wouldn't look too bad. I hope!

It's o.k. man. That can be a future project. Right now just enjoy it. Love the pic. Can't wait to see finished product.
