You don't have a hell yes....so yes will have to do. That looks sharp on your car!
BTW- Is that chrome molding sandwiched into the crack along the side of the car? You know the beltline or whatever you call it. |

I am sooo glad to see that everyone is being HONEST...
that is exactly what I wanted to read! Pros and Cons regarding the way they look on my car... I know some of these pillars look horrible on different PT's and that's why I was wondering... As for the "black pillars matching better than the chrome"... I AGREE! But for this same reason I will be putting mirror tints all around. Will definitely look better than the solid black tints I have at this time. Again, being that we all love pics.... I will also post these once they have been installed. P.S. - keep those comments coming.... ![]()

Thanks Seaner! Forget spending top $$$ for the aftermarket "belt lines, grill, wheel lip" when you can do it yourself and only spent about $20. Hit your nearest AutoZone or PepBoys and buy their "chrome wheel lip molding"... the roll cost $10 for like 20', which should cover the entilre belt line of the car. I bought two rolls because I also did the wheel lips and the grill. Easy as hell to install! Peel the tape off and stick them on, that's all! re: is it sandwiched into the crack along the side of the car? That will be a "Hell No"... They don't fit, a little too big.... so just stick them right above that line. Believe me, they are too easy to install, really cheap and most important... it improves the look of your car! Heres a little hint about them.... turn on the heat in your car and leave them in there for about 10 minutes so they soften up and stick better.... you will be able to shape them in which ever way you'd like. |
