Default Chrome bumper covers or painted bumpers??

I am trying to decide whether to buy the chrome bumper covers offered by PT Warehouse (IRA has these on his car) or paint the bumpers?? I think the chrome would be more durable than the painted bumpers??? What are thoughts?? HELP!! Can't make up my mind

I have a set of E&G Classic Painted Bumper Covers. This is another solution you might wish to consider. Am not worried about paint chipping off as I was given a lifetime warranty by the installer (Roman Chariot in Cleveland).

Here is what they look like:

Had the bumpers on my Inferno Red painted and they look just like the picture posted by PT-MD and I love the look. Think I would choose it over the chrome.

Woog-I like the grey bumpers on my car. The reason that I like them is that many new cars now have bumpers the same color as the car or with chrome on them. I think the grey bumpers kinda make the car unique. I do love looking at the stuff other people do to theirs though, I just prefer mine with the bumpers that it came with. The point is that you are not alone!

I don't mind them on the Silver or Taupe or Black. On the Blue- NO, Red- NO, Cran- NO, white, perhaps, Green- NO...

I will be doing mine (blue) this spring/summer, if it ever comes.....

I'm all for doing stuff. I have a tree root flameball shiftknob, vent visors
& back mudflaps. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It is good to know there is another grey bumper purist though.

I had decided to paint my bumpers until I picked her up. I like the grey bumpers, I may change my mind again, but right now I am happy with them the way they are.

I do like to see the different changes on the Cruisers
