Marc- good catch. Maybe I'll go there in person, saying that I am a retailer- PTE, I can retail on PTE right??

Is this stuff reusable? Heat shrinkable- probably not!!

I'll try CTC tonite, also going to try the dollar store and see what I find.

Sometimes shelf paper comes in WOODY designs (ala Chevy Chase station wagon)... that would be a neat temporary bra for the PT! (or wife)

Hmmmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,do I smell an opportunity here? Maybe someone (hello, Rich at Streamline!!!) could produce a nearly invisible vinyl-type transparent covering for the hood/fender areas to protect them. Maybe highlight the edges with pinstriping, mini flames or something. The grill would be difficult to do, but thats not metal anyway so less of a concern. Would anybody other than me buy someting like that?
This product is already on the market....material is produced by 3M. There are a couple fabricators I remember seeing with a website. You'll need to do a search.

i havave an appointment with factory rep to look at the nearly 500 chips i have on my hood and both headlight areas. 11 months old and 26k miles. dealer paint guy says chips are caused by factory paint being too thin and baking it that makes the paint so hard that anything will chip it.
