Default Back doors canīt be opend from inside!?

Still without my manual, I have tried various keycodes, and for some reason both back doors can not be opened anymore from the inside.
They do NOT have the CHILDREN safety lock on (the small black manual switch inside the door).
Even when I push the unlock button and all "switches" go up, the doors can not be opened.
Plz....my son would like to get out of the car by himself...
Yours,

P.D.:
could not find any info about this on ptdoityourself page.

All North American Cruisers
have the child proof locks as
far as I know. Either somebody
made a mistake at the factory
and put in a wrong lock assembly
or there's some bizarre, secret
Canary Island law that won't
allow rear seat passengers to
open their own doors. The only
thing I can say is see your
dealer and complain.

There's no simple fix here, if the child lock is in the correct position. The dealership will have to make sure that the connector arm is engaged to the handle.

Have you tried flipping the child lock switch. Maybe they put something in upside down or whatever.

Don't worry about the English--yours is pretty good. In fact, you just have to look up further on this thread to see some folks who live in this country aren't too good with it themselves!
