Default Goldmember's Parking Space

Look out Bill you may be next!
News item: GM plant in St Catherines is banning non GM vehicles from the main employee parking lot.
Better trade Sammy for an SSR!

Can they do that???? My husband works for a plant which is jointly owned by GM and Suzuki. The vast majority of people who work there don't drive those vehicles. If they want us to all to drive one, they should GIVE us each one! I could use a good second vehicle.

They do it at the DaimlerChrysler Tech Center. If you drive a competitive vehicle (non-DC), you have to park in the boonies. It's been that way since they opened the place 15 years ago.

Heh. Back in the Seventies when I worked summers at the St. Louis Chrysler plant (as summer relief to help pay for college), they didn't have no rules like that. If you drove a competition vehicle into the employee parking lot, the employees just slashed your tires.

I think me parking my Chrysler at Ford is the least of their worries when I am there.
