I've seen one that was actually laid out ON the ground...as in 0" clearance. That one's close though...mine was close to that too but now it's on springs.

He has to have modified the mounting points of the suspension. I have seen PTs on the bump stops and they are not that low. Like mabie he raised the strut tower to lower the PT. I have seen that done a lot on import cars.

Someday, at some Cruiser event, the "air-bagged" Cruisers should line up and do the "limbo rock."

How low can you go?

In the rear, if you remove the bumpstop, it'll lay out on the ground but the front won't, so yes, you do have to modify the front end to go lower. Looks like this particular car has done exactly that.

Having JUST removed my air suspension, I'm waaaay too familiar with the underside of my car.

Wouldn't the unibody them slam down on the suspension if it drove over almost ANY bump??

Or do you mean remove the bump-stop if its on bags?

With 2" drop springs installed, my stops were trimed to the first notch:

If it's on bags. No way it's driving like that. The shop tried it on mine and crushed the side-skirts, so had to repaint them before I got the car back.
