My front brakes were replaced about a year ago. Oh well.... sh#t happens.

I got my front pads replaced at about 40k and the mechanic was very surprised to see how well the rears were holding up. He had just done the rears on at PT the previous week and on that vehicle the fronts were OK.

You made it all the way to 45,000? I had to replace the rear pads at 37,000. I think I had a sticking caliper. I just made sure to clean and lube the caliper slides real good. Hopefully that was all that was wrong with them.
