I have had and will keep Nancy and the kids in my thoughts and prayers. It was devasting when Wendell died so suddenly (her husband) and to be followed so quickly by her father...and with her mother being so sick....and now the wreck. I know God isn't supposed to give us more than we can handle, so isn't this about enough???

Nancy we love you and continue to pray for your family.

This is from our dear friend, Nancy Maners, who you remember lost her husband, Wendell suddendly in January. Then her father died last week. Please read this. She needs all our prayers and support.

This is just not my year. You know my dad died last week. Well, today, Mom (who has Alzheimer's) and I were on the way home from the grocery and drug stores and had a head on collision. The guy hit another car head on first and then spun around and hit us head on. Fortunately we were not injured although I did have mom transported by ambulance and checked out since she had a broken neck three years ago. The people in the first vehicle that was hit were transported to UAB in critical condition.

I don't know how bad the PT is. I know I will need a new hood, bumper, lights, and who knows what underneath the hood, although it is still drivable. I think it was probably not as bad as it could have been because I had seen him cross to the wrong side of the road and had come to a complete stop.

Please pray that this streak of bad luck will end.

Couldn't have said it any better. God may test us by giving us diffiiculties to endure, but with His strength and guidance we can all get through what life dishes out. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support during this time. God will see us through these hard times, I know that. My PT friends have supported me more than I could ever imagine. One of the things I am most thankful for is that Wendell and I took two weeks and went to CTF II, just the two of us, last year. We laughed and played those weeks like we had not done in years. Buying our PT caused us to get out and ride and spend time together like we have not done since newlyweds. For that I am thankful.

I hope to get back into attending cruises soon. Had hoped to do the Route 66 thing last summer but didn't make it. I don't know what's going to happen with Mom since she has come to live with us. That ties me down somewhat.

In addition, my son is graduating this year, so in a way, I'll have another loss. Wendell and I were looking forward to "empty nest" but things didn't happen like I hoped.

I hope to see each and every one of you cruisin' down the road. Continue to remember me in your prayers.
