Default Mr Clean Wash - really works!

Ok, so I'm not much into buying those 'as seen on tv' products.

I hate dirty cars, but I'm lazy about doing a good job washing, so I use this really very nice car wash in town -
Now that I have a convertible, it's advised not to run it through a car wash.

I saw the add for the Mr. Clean Spot free dry and low and behold! It works - just like they say.

You get a wash gun - load it with soap and a filter - rinse, soap and spot free dry - it looks beautuful! $19.99 at Wal Mart.

Very pleased indeed!

Thumbs up Re: Mr Clean Wash - really works!

I live in a condo and dont have the free use of a garden hose for carwashing, wish I did. But, nonetheless, I do use Mothers Car Shampoo. I put the recommended amount in a gallon of water in a bottle and take that to the carwash. After using their wand to wash the major portion of the dirt off, I then handwash it using my Mother's wash. Sure comes out purdy . Glad to hear you found something that does work. When do we get to see pics of your new convertible?!?!?

Careful, I hear it is a real B#tch to apply any type of wax after using it, because of the petrolium that makes the water run off.

I'll stick to hand washing.

Petroleum on "new paint!" That cant be good! Remember, it takes a new paint job anywhere from 6 to 9 months to completely dry, depending on where you live (how hot or cold your climate is)! The petroleum can act as a solvent on your new paint & finish. Get some Mother's carwash shampoo and dry with a shammy! NO wax, no harsh chemicals of any kind for the first 9 months!

Personnally, As long as it takes to rinse off with that tiny little spray of ionized water, I can have the PT dried 5 times over by hand!!

Yeah, but the cool factor is watching it dry by itself.

That is not for origional paint. The OEM paint is baked at 400 degrees to cure it for assembly. Body shops cant bake it that high so it takes time to cure.

If you go to the website for the Mr clean. You can print a $5 off coupon! http://www.homemadesimple.com/mrclea...ry/index.shtml
