Angry DC Service Contracts - Latest Info

I pulled out this new service contract I purchased from the finance guy at my dealership. I called DC corporate today. They confirmed that their service contracts were legal in ALL STATES. Yes he did confirm this finance guy was trying to pull a fast one on me too. The contract he sold me was from Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. As soon as I got off the phone with them, I went downstairs to my bank and cancelled the check I wrote for it. This evening, I'll write a letter to the GM at my dealership & complain about what this person did. I'll also demand a $25 refund for cost of cancelling the check. If I dont get it I'll threaten to take them to court. And last but not least, I'm switching dealerships for for any further service.

It's guys like 'that' which cause people to give pause about salesmen.

Good Luck and good for you!

Good follow up, guys like that can really take advantage of a new car buyer that is excited to get on the road & just wants to get out of the dealership. I would have paid for the glass engraving charge they tried to slip past me but my salesman gave me the heads up on it. Guess what, nobodies stole my windshield yet! I wonder if they do recruiting trips to federal prisons?
