what kind of a deal does Carmax have with Chrysler??????
A pretty good one I would guess!

As for trade-in value, who knows? If you are close enuff to Carmax, just drive over and have them give a quote.

I wish there was still a Carmax in Michigan.

Drive to CArmax--I will in the near future--have one about 7 miles from me. Leaving for London next week and cramming at work--so it will have to be after I return and get the car fully spiffed up--but heck, if they bite I may sell them the DC1...Wanted the DC 3 but geezz if they are willing to sell an 04 220hp GT Turbo in red for $19,980 I just might have to fly to LA and pick it up....that is a good 5 k under the best price I've seen on a DC 3 and for 5k I'll live without blue glass (although I really want it-just not 5k worth).

THANKS EVERYONE for passing on the Carmax info--I thought they were a straight used car set up-no idea about new cars.

Technically getting $1300 off MSRP, particularly on a harder to find 5-speed GT ain't that bad.....
Check Johhny D's post. Looks like you would have gotten stiffed after all.
