Thats the route I took, Weitec 1.6" drop from Pro-Felge. Have move clearance in front now too, I had them installed at the same time as the Progress sway bars & Freedom design strut brace so I can't say how much each component improved the handling. Much improved even with the 15" Goodyears and sits nice & level.

Before I lowered the rear with springs, I bought some of those clamps just to see if I liked the looks. I never could get them installed. The ones I bought just didn't fit the spring to well, and I never could figure out how to tighten the nut and bolt on the inside of the spring. For me it was a waste of money that I could have used toward buying new rear springs.

I have tried lowering with 2" Goldline Springs and it did level it just how I wanted, just to get the Rake out. The problem was the front wheel weld gap was much more than the back and I did'nt like the way it looked. So I had 1 1/2" put in all around. It still has the rake but not as much with as having the Stock springs

Don't forget to re-aim your headights if you lower the rear so that you don't blind oncoming drivers!

We lowered the rear only a couple of months ago with Eibach springs. It really helps the look from the side by getting rid of that big gap in the wheel well. Car sits level now instead of looking like the back end is jacked up a bit. I don't have any complaints here.
