How Many Of Still Have 01's And Plan To Keep It
I have an 01 LE and I have plans to keep it, but a couple of days ago a friend drove up in my driveway in a New Vanilla Convertable and oh boy the itch to go scratch and go buy one came over me. It took me a day to calm down. I had to go in my garage and take a good look at my 01 and think about all the work and money I've put in it and think about all the mods I have that she wants for her convertable and that helped me to get back. I still have a lot of things I will be doing to it. Oh I Just Love My PT. I THINK THIS WILL BY MY ONLY LOVER FOR A LONG TIME. YEA I MAY LOOK AT OTHERS BUT I WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO WHERE MY MONEY IS AT... SITTING ING MY GARAGE(only when its raining)

Gotta keep it for a while... I still owe money on it!
 I'm still happy with my '01 PT Touring Edition & I can't honestly say I've ever grown tired of it. Nope, it's been reliable and comfortable transportation for the last three years. I'm content in the knowledge that if I keep it in its present immaculate condition, "Mr. PT" will continue to serve me faithfully for years to come.

Even though it's registered as an '00, I love my 01. I had the opportunity to get a Dreamer 2 for an absolute steal, but had to pass it up. My first thoughts were I'd have to transfer over my dual exhaust, and my wheels, and then start on all the modifications again. I love my baby and have invested too much time into her to let her go.

We bought the '01 for me in May 2001. My wife took it when we got my '03 GT in Feb 2003. My wife wants a PT convertible next year and we will trade the '01.

Im all talk when it comes to getting a new car. I drive my wife crazy with ... "I want to get one of thoes...." all the time. Especially when we see a GT PT, or a WRX STi. But when it comes down to it, I still am in love with my 01 PT. The excitement is gone but I really really do still like my car. So replaceing it is not going to happen soon, but listening to me talk it would seem as if i am ready to get something else.
